About this product
If you're ready to shoot at the highest level, the Canon EOS R5 Mark II is built for exactly that. Powered by a completely redesigned 45MP full-frame back-illuminated stacked CMOS sensor, this mirrorless body delivers ultra-fast readout speeds that translate directly into real-world performance — including roughly 60% less rolling shutter distortion compared to its predecessor.
Speed and Intelligence, Redefined
Thirty frames per second at full 45MP resolution — in 14-bit RAW, 10-bit HEIF, or 8-bit JPEG — is just the beginning. The R5 Mark II inherits Dual Pixel Intelligent AF from Canon's flagship EOS R1, keeping subjects locked even when momentarily obscured. Eye Control AF goes a step further, letting your gaze direct focus naturally, surpassing even the system found in the EOS R3. Action Priority reads the scene to predict and track key subjects across sports like football and basketball, while People Priority can recognize and prioritize up to 10 registered individuals simultaneously.
Video Without Compromise
Cinematographers gain access to 8K RAW recording at up to 59.94/50.00 fps with Canon Log 2 support, plus the ability to capture stills and video simultaneously without interruption. A 5.76M-dot OLED EVF — matching the EOS R3 — and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity round out a camera that sets a new benchmark for the EOS 5 series.
